What can I say about my life in this small blurb that is comprehensive but does not bore people? I live in Los Angeles, California. I grew up on my grandfather's farm In Southern Arizona. When I left for Northern Arizona University, I had no plans to return, but I did for two semesters at our junior college after marrying my girlfriend I met during my freshman year. When I was an undergraduate and graduate student, I took as many writing classes as I possibly could. As an English teacher, I took advantage of my summer breaks to write. Rarely, did I send anything out. I seemed to have lost most of my earliest work. The pleasure of creating seemed enough for me. After my children came, all of my energies became reserved for raising them. Now, they've all moved out, and my passion for writing has returned. I'm most fortunate to be married to the best editor I know. Everything I write passes under her capable eyes. My two favorite activities are biking and skiing. I ride a beach trail from Venice Beach to Will Rodgers State Park. My home is nestled at the foot of the San Gabrial Mountains. During the Winter, I can be in the snow within an hour.
